What does “Pack It In, Pack It Out” mean?
Whether you’re hiking or camping, picnicking, or doing yoga in the park, “Pack It In, Pack It Out” means that whatever you bring with you into the great outdoors, you take back out with you when you leave.
“Pack It In, Pack It Out” is part of the “Leave No Trace 7 Principles.”

Sherita met a wonderful group of firefighters in Northern California. They talked about topics like fire safety, the wildlands, and what important information needs to be shared with the public. What was created out of this meeting was several songs that reflect topics that speak to the heart and communicate a memorable Public Service Announcement.
“Pack It In, Pack It Out” is the first of these tracks to be released.

lyrics
When you’re hiking in the woods and your carrying your goods
Having fun on your route and your litters all about
You packed it in, so pack it out
Pack It In, Pack It Out
Pack It In, Pack It Out
You packed it in, so pack it out
Pick up after yourself to preserve natures health
Keep it clean around the scene and this place pristine
You packed it in, so pack it out
Pack It In, Pack It Out
Pack It In, Pack It Out
You packed it in, so pack it out
When your walking down the trail don’t leave trash on your tail
you know what you should do, take your s*** with you
You packed it in, so pack it out
Pack It In, Pack It Out
Pack It In, Pack It Out
You packed it in, so pack it out...

Public Service and making use of my skill set are important to me. I love to write songs all the time with good friends. My
latest songs were written sitting around the campfire with fighter fighters. I just spent a year touring in my sprinter van and playing shows across the country. I'm headed off to tour in England. Check out my tour schedule on Bands In Town or LinkTree....more
